The new trailer for the adaptation of the popular 3D fighting game Tekken also confirmed the release date of the new series. It will hit Netflix on August 18, 2022. First announced in March 2022, the trailer picks up where the first trailer leaves off. Jin Kazama, the son of the original protagonist of the game series, Kazuya Mishima. The trailer shows that Jin is tormented by the death of his mother, Jun Kazama, who was murdered at the hand of the individual known as Ogre.
The story of Tekken: Bloodline seems to borrow a lot from Tekken 3. The game is the first title that Jin is seen in, and it also features Ogre as the main antagonist.
